  How error entered the religious world

  adam and eve were to eat of any of the trees of the garden except the one.

  they must have been fruit trees, since they were to eat of them.

  eating (and drinking) in the bible is figurative of partaking of a message.

  Fruit trees mean messengers, and flaming swords mean basketball.

  Two springs flowed out of Eden, one of sweet water and one of sulfur water.

  Man was never meant to be constipated, and that's why nettles have thorns.

  The volcano to the east of Eden is where Cain invented the ritual of "luau" which originally consisted of men receiving messages from pigs and chickens and fish, but was later corrupted to be the simple eating ritual it is today. "Poi" is Hawaiian for "matzoh."

  Adam sinned by letting Eve talk him out of watching basketball. That's why we have to paint our garages today.

  Do other religions change doctrine?

  after visiting with a couple of jws over the weekend; and for the first time talking about my true feelings about the org with active jws other than immediate fam, one of them mentioned something interesting.

  when i talked about how with the constant changes to beliefs that i find it impossible to believe that the gb can be guided by the hs.

  so one of the jws said, "other religions change doctrines around too.

  Serenitynow told us, "...So one of the JWs said, "other religions change doctrines around too..."

  So what is that supposed to prove? That other religions are guided by Jehovah's Magic Spirit, or that they're not?

  Sometimes JWs fail to think through their arguments before they step into a big soft pile of "other religions have problems too."

  The point is this: Witnesses say that their religion is DIFFERENT. So why is it THE SAME as those other "false" religions?

  Satan and demons

  has anyone ever felt the presence of demons in the past?a lot of jws have told me that they had or got beaten,heard voices,whispers etc.is it true?.

  I'll admit that I have never heard of the New York Review of MAGAZINES before, but it seems to be a real publication.

  Interestingly enough, they DO NOT have any reviews of The WATCHTOWER on their site. Gee whiz, guys and gals, don't you think we should help them out? I, for one, would love to see Blondie's reviews of The WATCHTOWER.

  After all, this IS "the most widely read magazine in the world," right? People should be just SO eager to know what it says...

  The New York Review of Magazines (full disclosure: I was a contributor when I was a Columbia University graduate student) has a story about The Watchtower, the magazine published by Jehovah's Witnesses.

  Writer Joel Meares spends some time distributing the magazine and knocking on doors with Frank and Lydia Tavolacci, two Queens, N.Y., Witnesses. It's an absolutely fascinating read.

  The Watchtower is thought to be the world's most widely distributed and read magazine, printed in more than 180 languages each month.

  I find it amusing when people say "there are things we can't explain..." and then "explain" those things by saying "..so they must have been caused by demons."

  I DO NOT believe there is a spirit realm occupied by any kind of creature or being: no God, no Jesus, no angels, no demons, no fairies, no gremlins, no leprechauns, etc., etc.*

  I DO, however, believe that there are some things that we cannot explain, but there are far fewer of these than most people think there are, and I let it go at that. I am not afraid of saying "I don't know." I'm not a compulsive liar.

  *Why do I believe this? BECAUSE THERE IS NO PROOF upon which to base such a claim, AND because all previous "proofs" have been shown to be frauds or faulty reasoning.

  Danny Haszard doesn't have one, thanks to the WTB&TS, but they probably wouldn't let him sit in there.

  Probably if I had said "anyone with one eye" some people would have thought I was excluding those people who have two eyes.

  How did you find the strength to leave?

  to all of you exjws, i'm sure you've been asked this question one way or the other many times and i'm sure the answer is different for many of you, i'd like to know directly from you never having a chance to hear or read many exjw's answers to this.

  knowing that you would be cut off from your family and friends and other consequences for your decision to leave, how did you ever get the strength to do it?

  i mean really, i find it fascinating to know that there are so many of you who were at one time very devout, if not at the very least loyal to one of the most successful mind-contol organizations ever who believed all if not most of what the society taught and still you found the courage to risk everything once you accepted that it isn't what it claims to be.

  recently i have looked at youtube on interesting topics.

  i wrote also to all 129 bethel-homes around the world and suggested them to search on youtube on illuminati, freemasons, 666, new world order, fema coffins, fema concentration camps, rfid chip, rockefeller, antichrist.. very interesting stuff!

  i suggest you also to search on "the third temple" could soon to be built in jerusalem.
